Thank you to RSVP volunteers, Tom
McBride, Rebecca Johnson, Diana Mendel, Linda Moore, Al
Anglin, Maggie Stewart, Hank Vincent, Sally Starko,
Cathy Rusnak, Gene Rusnak who assisted with the Fill the
Bus Tag Day held at Wal-Mart. Also, thanks to WSTV-AM
and WOMP-AM, Follansbee McDonald, Follansbee
Presbyterian Church and Family of God Church and
Northwood Health Systems for the back packs. 686
items and were collected to be distributed at the
Afterschool Adventures Open House August 24, 2009.
$95.35 was raised to assist with the Afterschool
Adventures Program.
We have received
4-ply yarn for Christmas Lap Robes, THANK YOU!
However, we have already given it out and are in need of
more..... Our ladies have been busy! THANKS AGAIN!

Diocese of Wheeling Charleston is needing: Two Area
Coordinators for Brooke and Hancock Counties for Home Base
Mentoring at Community Day Report Centers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend board of director’s quarterly meetings in local
areas, Wellsburg and Wheeling. Recruit and assist training
for mentors in local area and be a mentor. Supervise and
administer responsibilities.
Stone Pear Pavilion needs volunteers to
assist residents with walks, visitation and other needs.
Afterschool Adventures volunteers are always
needed! RSVP is looking for sponsors to assist with
utility expense of St. Anthony's School Building for use of
gym and stage, if you can help give us a call at
