RSVP ASAP fundraiser
needs your assistance, please drop off your
receipts at the RSVP office or your local Smith Oil dealer
and RSVP will receive 1% of your purchase. Thank you Smith

Total of three placements.
Guidelines for service: must be 55, pass a background
check, physical, and meet income guidelines under $21,000
single household and $27,000 double household including
medical deductions. A Senior Companion must commit between
20 – 40 hours per week. Stipend service offers
$2.65/hour and .35 per mile.

to Program Changes RSVP will not hold their annual Christmas
Dance but will offer assistance to local Senior Center
Christmas Parties upon request. We are asking that you
continue to “Make a Difference”
– in supporting your local community shelters by bringing
5 dry good items such as soups, mashed potatoes or
stuffing to your local senior centers by December 9, 2011.
RSVP volunteers will deliver items to local food banks such
as “Community Bread Basket” and Soup Kitchen of Greater
Wheeling.
RSVP needs volunteers to bake for Easter
Seals Cookie Caper. RSVP will be calling to ask for your

RSVP Christmas Project is in need of 4

AARP Driver Safety
Program Thursday and Friday November 17th and 18th, 2011
(site to be announced in the near future) from 9:00 to 1:00
p.m. The AARP Drivers Safety Program is the nation's
first and largest classroom refresher course designed
especially for drivers 50 and older. Mature motorist
50 years and older will be instructed in defensive driving
techniques, new traffic laws, rules of the road and
adjusting driving to age-related changes.
The 8 hour 2 day program
is available for a minimal cost of $12 for AARP members and
$14 for non-members. The Driver Safety Program i
nvites all veterans and active members of our armed forces
to attend a Drivers Safety Class free in the month of
November 2011. Space is limited, you must call
304.564.3801 or stop by to pre-register. Pre-payment
is appreciated.
