Applefest
raised $493.00 thanks to hard work of RSVP
volunteers who manned the booth and baked goodies. A
special thank you to council members Margret Freshwater ,
Helen Moren Dr. Carmel Esposito, Maggie Stewart and Hattie
Adams for your support.

Follansbee
Christmas in the Park raised $338.70
A special thank you to Paul
Krnaich and Bobby Johnson for helping set up and tear down.
RSVP handed out 15 children’s books and 7 file of life
packets. Thank you Linda Vidoni and Kelly Fluharty for your
support.

RSVP Volunteers Hard at Work
RSVP
volunteers participate in the second Community Watch Meeting
for Follansbee Second Ward. CPR was provided to all
volunteers. A special thank you to Bob Fowler and Amy
Nickerson CPR instructors and John Schwertfeger, Follansbee
Police Chief for his support. Thanks to advisory council
members Cathy Rusnak and Gary Riggs for attending.

Thank You RSVP volunteers who braved the cold to help with
the Follansbee Downtown Beautification Project of painting
13 wooden benches and to Boy Scout Troop #57 who
partnered with RSVP. Special thanks to Mayor Tony
Paesano and council who supported the project and supplied
paint and supplies. Thanks to RSVP council member Cathy
Rusnak for her support. Mayor Paesano called to say “Very
Good Job”!

will be hosting its 3rd annual
Christmas Dance Party
on December 2, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
at St. Francis Center. Thank you to St.
Anthony’s Church for donating the center and
refreshments. Also a thank you extended to council
member Fred Welshans and Chris Welshans
for making the arrangements. Admission
requested: 2 non-perishable food items and/or
one unwrapped toy.
