Up and Coming Events

• CERT Homeland Security Class has been changed to August the exact date will be announced later.  New director is Rob McMahan with the Follansbee Fire Department will be teaching.  Classes will be open to the public all ages are welcome.
• The Brooke County Fair Board would like Volunteers for Sept 7, 8 and 9 of 2007
• Christmas In the Park - October 13, 14 2007 (RSVP plans to have a booth).

Help Needed

·         Volunteers are needed at the Wellsburg Nutrition site and Adult Day Care, Monday thru Friday from 9-1.  Two days per week afternoon help will be needed also.

·         Community Bread Basket is looking for office help, two times a week anytime you can spare.  (One position filled by Vera Teeters Morton) Thanks Vera

·         Volunteers will be needed to assist at the Brooke County Fair with Bingo and Gate on September 7-8 and 9, 2007. 

·         Gingerbread House - (Weirton Area) –Cashier (One position filled by Vera Teeters Morton) Thanks Vera

·         Brooke County Senior Center is looking for volunteers on Sunday's to assist with Euchre and baked goods donation.  3-4 Hours in the Kitchen Area.  Transportation can be provided.

·         Weirton Senior Center is looking for volunteers to sell floor Raffles on Friday Bingo Nights.

·         REACH is looking for volunteer's to distribute food to Dalessio Manor.

·         Rick Rukowski is planning to have Movie Day at the Mary H. Weir Library and will need volunteers to assist.
