RECORDER BAND
Learn, practice and
perform with Recorder Band.
Provide entertainment at various functions.
Time:
Weekly lessons from Center of
Music and Arts, 10 hours plus.
ACTIVITY DIRECTOR
Bingo, crafts, quilting
and Christmas projects for nursing homes,
are members of a recorder band who entertain seniors and
various
other groups.
FUNDRAISING/BINGO
Help prepare and serve
food for bingo players, clean all kitchen
area when finished, work bingo floor, sell instant tickets, call
bingo.
Time:
5:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.
FUNDRAISING/ASSISTANT
Assist supervisor in
whatever way possible with fundraising efforts.
Time:
2-3 Hours
OFFICE ASSISTANT
Front Desk assistant. Answering
phone and taking messages.
Provide information to callers.
Time:
4 hours plus.
HANDYMAN
Fix minor repairs, if
necessary, help move tales and
chairs for special events.
Time:
Varies
HEALTH FAIRS
Acts as "Information
and Referral" at health fairs.
Distribute necessary information. In charge of "sign
in" or "registration".
Time:
3-4 hours
BLOOD PRESSURE VOLUNTEER
RN's or Nurses Aide, take
blood pressure, assemble blood
pressure records, record blood pressure on clients card, clean
up blood
pressure area.
Time:
1 hour per week
