Assignments
GREETER
Solicit and record necessary information from blood donors prior to
them donating blood. Must keep confidences. Must attend Red
Cross "Registration" class. Upon completion of Course,
you will be tested to determine certification.
ESCORT
Assist people who have donated blood to the canteen area. If
donor
feels unsteady notify nurses.
CANTEEN
Serve food and liquid provided by Red Cross to those who have just
donated blood.
TRAFFIC CONTROLLER AND DONOR RECRUITER
Customer
service. Enforces priority system for those with
appointments. Gives time estimates, diplomatically enforces and
orderly waiting area.
Time:
3
to 7 hours per month. |
